Equipment
On this page you can find a summary of the equipment I use, and bring with me on a assignment. First let me say that the equipment you own is only as good as the photographer itself, in other words give an amateur a € 5000,- camera and there photo’s will still look bad on the other side give a professional photographer a crappy camera and he or she will be able to capture good quality photo’s. That said I do work with the higher-end camera’s because of there comfort & durability they never ever let me down when I’m on a assignment. For a camera system I chose Canon long time ago and are still very pleased with it. Basically it doesn’t really matter which brand you choose, nowadays the top manufactures all make high quality camera’s. Canon works for me, sometimes when I hold a camera from a colleague of another brand I just can’t get the feeling for it. In my personal opinion you’ve got to choose at the beginning and then stay with it. I can hold and operate my Canon digital SLR with my eyes closed and thats where it’s all about, you’ve got to be fast to capture those decisive moments that makes your photo’s stand out from the rest.
