DC Shred Days – Les Houches FR
DC Shred Days is a DC event on the slope in Les Houches at AREA 43 DC snowpark, We stayed all together night and day on the slope to meet and enjoying exchanges each other about DC products. A good opportunity to shoot and film with the international pro riders like Torstein Horgmo, Iikka Backstrom, Lauri Heiskari, Devun Walsch, Aaron Bittner, Andrew Geeves and many more. Trialbike Zaandam
Yesterday I teamed up with with trialbiker Niels de Wit, the main focus was to shoot stills and video, Two locations were picked for the job first location was the skatepark beneath the highway A8 in Zaandam which looks great with all the graffiti and second location the NDSM terrain in Amsterdam.

For the video part I went to the local hardware store and for about 100euro I made my own budget dolly system that works great and some other cool stuff i created to get some interesting shots I will upload a behind the scenes video about that after the next shoot. Due to the rain we had to stop early so we need more footage for the video I will update about the final video & the behind the scenes video through my blog.
Marathon Leiden 2011
On the 15th of May I had a assignment for Runner’s World Magazine U.S.A. Writer and runner John Hanc from New York was competing in the Marathon of Leiden and I was asked to cover the whole event from the motorcycle and shoot some pre race portraits of John. Sunday morning I joined John at the Pieterskerk in Leiden prior to the race we shot some portraits. Main focus for the event was to shoot packs of people running in typical Netherlands/Leiden surroundings. Not an easy job because the beautiful architecture buildings were all on the end of the course, but at that point there were no more packs of people running but mostly small groups or individuals. The images turned out great and with a satisfied client I couldn’t be more happy! For everyone that received my business card or is curious for the images I have to wait till the images have been published in Runner’s World Magazine before I can show them on my website.
